The SportDOG TEK Series 1.5 GPS comes with a great range coverage spanning the distance of 7 miles, so is a top-notch tool to utilize when training your dogs for long-distance work or monitoring your dog’s location at all times while hunting.
The collars receiver can track up to 12 dogs at any one time by reporting the location, direction, and status of your dogs which will be displayed on the LCD screen on the handheld device providing you with vital data so that you may better control and locate your dogs.
The SportDOG TEK series 1.5 GPS dog tracking system & collar also includes 99 levels of continuous, rising, momentary, and user-programmable static simulation.
Thank to the DryTek technology the collar is also waterproof and submersible up to 25 feet, with the handheld device being submersible up to 5 feet, which means even in rugged and wet conditions this GPS dog collar tracking system should hold up and have a long shelf life.
The SportDOG GPS system also contains lithium-ion rechargeable batteries with the collars lasting up to 24hrs when fully charged and the handheld device lasting up to 20hrs with a full charge.
This device is designed for dogs over the weights of 8 pounds, so this is important to bear in mind before purchasing.
